I recorded a podcast episode with Science Chatter Hamburg! Here I discuss a common misconception about the realities of particle physics research at the LHC, inspired by a conversation I had with my Dad.

Joined by science communicator Michael Bueker, I do my best to explain in plain terms what examining particle physics data looks like in real life, and why it’s so different from what many imagine it to be.
